Hi, I’m Adele Thompson.

Growing up, I always cherished working with kids. This is something I carried into adulthood and took to heart in every role I’ve ever filled.

I began my journey working for New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services. After over a decade in casework, I turned my skills to a different way of helping children — as a service coordinator for Early Intervention. Over many years at several agencies, I developed a true passion for helping children on their developmental journey.

I came into teaching by accident, but the classroom quickly became the place where I felt most fulfilled. As an educator, I’ve discovered I really enjoy supporting children in developing their emerging skills across domains during the crucial months from infancy to toddlerhood.

Today, I enjoy transitioning children from caregiving to the classroom, bringing the educational background I’ve garnered through different roles, plus my own education, to bring the best of myself to the classroom environment and help our youngest learners thrive.
